Analog Devices MAX86176EVKIT Evaluation Kit provides a platform to evaluate the functionality and features of the MAX86176 PPG and ECG Analog Front-End (AFE). The MAX86176 is a complete photoplethysmogram (PPG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) solution for wearable applications. The MAX86176 features a signal-to-noise ratio of 110db for PPG and a common-mode rejection ratio of >110db for ECG. This device is designed to optimize dry electrode performance enabling wearable form factors such as wrist, chest, abdomen, forehead, and smart garments.

Analog Devices MAX86176EVKIT Evaluation Kit consists of a Microcontroller Board (MAXSENSORBLE_HEADER_EVKIT_A) and a Sensor Board (MAX86176_EVKIT_A). The Sensor Board includes a pre-mounted MAX86176 in a 2.73mm x 2.71mm WLP package. To enable PPG and ECG measurement capabilities, the Sensor Board also contains 3 LEDs (Red, Green, and IR), 3 discrete photodiodes, a 3 LED, 1 photodiode module, and component configurations on the ECG channel. The Evaluation Kit can be powered through a USB connection to a PC using a USB-C to USB-A cable or a LiPo Battery. The MAX86176EVKIT kit can also relay data wirelessly when used with an optional Cypress USB BLUETOOTH® LE Dongle (not included). The kit is pre-loaded with the latest firmware, which can be updated if needed using the included Programming Board.
