M12 Receptacles with Integrated Magnetics

HARTING M12 Receptacles with Integrated Magnetics combine the functions of an IP65/IP67 connector and a transformer with no increase in size. These M12 connectors are designed for systems where Ethernet-capable components are connected to networks. They protect chips in devices through galvanic separation and ensure the decoupling of the ground potential between the cabling and the terminal. HARTING M12 magnetics receptacles save up to 30% board space by doing away with additional components such as capacitors and resistors. The devices provide power transfer via PoE+ and better signal integrity because the connector and transformer work together.
