MxL7218 Dual Channel Power Modules

MaxLinear MxL7218 Dual Channel Power Modules are dual 18A or single 36A output step-down power modules with a 4.5V to 15V input voltage range. These modules support two outputs, each with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 1.8V, set by a single external resistor. The MxL7218 power modules can provide up to 216A when paralleled with additional MxL7218 modules. These power modules feature differential remote sense amplifiers and peak current mode architecture for a fast transient response with 400kHz to 780kHz adjustable switching frequency. MaxLinear MxL7218 dual-channel power modules offer overcurrent protection, output overvoltage protection, under-voltage lock-out, internal temperature monitor, and thermal shutdown protection.
