BlueNRG-MS Bluetooth Smart Network Processors

STMicroelectronics BlueNRG-MS BLUETOOTH® Smart Network Processors have a low current consumption for coin cell battery-powered smart device applications. These processors are ideal for Bluetooth applications that need to operate for months or even years. The BlueNRG-MS run embedded Bluetooth low energy protocol stacks GAP, GATT, SM, L2CAP, LL, and RF-PHY on an embedded Cortex®-M0 core. The BlueNRG-MS are connected through a proprietary SPI-based interface to a host MCU running the application.

BlueNRG Bluetooth® Smart Solutions

STMicroelectronics BlueNRG BLUETOOTH® Smart Solutions are based on ST’s proprietary BlueCore technology and include both network and application processors in QFN-32 or WLCSP-34 miniaturized packages. ST’s BlueCore technology, powered by an embedded ST Bluetooth low-energy master and slave certified stack, features ultra-low power consumption and an excellent RF link budget for robust and reliable connectivity. STMicroeletronics BlueNGR Smart Solutions feature an optimized radio front-end and efficient power management architecture extend battery life from months to years. The on-chip non-volatile memory enables an easy and quick firmware upgrade, including in-the-field over-the-air (OTA) upgradability.
