STMicroelectronics SMA SMA6TY 600W Automotive Transil^™ series is designed to protect sensitive automotive circuits against surges defined in ISO 7637-2 and against electrostatic discharges according to ISO 10605. The planar technology makes this device compatible with high-end circuits where low leakage current and high junction temperature are required for reliability and stability. STMicroelectronics SMA6TY are packaged in SMA (SMA footprint per IPC 7531 standard).

Standard Products

600W TVS Diodes

These devices feature a fast response time and a peak pulse power of 600W (10/1000μs). Featuring Planar Technology, these TVS devices are ideal for high-end equipment and Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) applications where low leakage current and high junction temperature are required to provide long-term reliability and stability. Their low clamping voltages provides a high safety margin to protect sensitive circuits with extended life time expectancy. STMicroelectronics 600W TVS Diodes also feature a maximum junction Temperature (T_J) rating of +175°C, ensuring protection in high temperatures and harsh environments.
