DP83825EVM PHY Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments DP83825EVM PHY Evaluation Module (EVM) lets designers evaluate the small form-factor, 10BASE-Te/100BASE-TX Ethernet physical layer transceiver, the DP83825I. This evaluation module allows designers to use one of two interfaces: a network interface through an RJ-45 connector and a MAC interface through a simple multi-pin connector. The evaluation module is configured and controlled through a USB connection using the USB-2-MDIO simple software tool. The evaluation module supports interoperability testing, compliance testing, and BER testing. The evaluation module also supports 10BASE-Te and 100BASE-TX Ethernet protocols with header pins that connect to the Texas Instruments DP83825I RMII pins.
