MCF8329EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments MCF8329EVM Evaluation Module evaluates the performance of MCF8329 4.5V to 60V three-phase brushless DC gate driver IC. This module consists of an FTDI chip that converts USB communication from the micro-USB connector into UART. An onboard MSP430FR2355 Microcontroller (MCU) translates the UART communication into SPI-formatted data or control signals. The MCF8329EVM module supports up to 60V voltage and up to 30A current. This evaluation module is used in cordless vacuums, ventilators, server fans, cordless garden tools, and CPAP machines.
