Molex Easy-On FFC/FPC Connectors are ideal for tight-packaging applications and come in various pitch options, and include features to meet a wide variety of space and usage needs for applications in all markets. Molex Easy-On FFC/FPC Connectors are available with push and flip-style actuators, which are pre-assembled covers that secure the connection between the FFC/FPC and the connector terminals. Molex is continually developing lower-profile and higher-density versions to meet the downsizing needs of electronic equipment makers.

0.5mm FPC Connector with Dual Contact

Molex 0.5mm FPC Connectors with Dual Contact provide optimal space savings and the ability to source one connector to accommodate various FPC applications. This FPC Connector is one of the first 0.5mm (.020") pitch micro versions with a dual contact design. Molex 0.5mm pitch FPC Connectors with Dual Contact eliminate the need to source a top and bottom type connector when routing FPC to parallel boards. It also features a BackFlip™ actuator that provides easy cable insertion and high upward pull force, and an actuator lever that offers optimum length for easy use and space savings. Specifications for the 0.5mm FPC connector include a 0.5A current, 50V voltage, and withstanding voltage of 200VAC.

Constructed using high-temperature materials, these connectors meet rigorous environmental standards, including RoHS and halogen-free requirements. Molex 0.50mm Pitch Easy-On Front-Flip FFC/FPC Connectors are well-suited for LCD and PDP flat-panel displays, optical disk drives, car audio, notebook PC, tablet PC, portable game LCDs, and personal navigation equipment. The Easy-On family includes a 1.90mm height single-bottom contact connector.
