FT Series Supercapacitors

KEMET FT Series Supercapacitors, also known as Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLCs) are intended for high energy storage applications. These supercapacitors offer a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The FT supercapacitors also feature a maximum operating voltage of 5.5VDC and high reliability against liquid leakage. KEMET FT Series Supercapacitors are lead-free and RoHS compliant.

Supercapacitors

KEMET Supercapacitors are designed for high-energy storage applications and consist of four basic form factors: molded, chip, can, and radial through-hole. These superconductors offer rapid charging/discharging within seconds, open failure mode to eliminate short circuits, easy installation with automatic mounting, and pick-and-place capability. KEMET Supercapacitors approach infinite charge/discharge cycles with very little deterioration of capacitance or cycle life and are maintenance-free. Typical applications include a real-time clock, energy harvesting, test equipment, and industrial control.
