Low CR Photorelays

Toshiba Low CR Photorelays are available as Solid State Relays (SSR) or MOSFET Output Optocouplers and are typically used as signal relay replacements. Photorelays are semiconductor relays made up of an LED optically coupled to a MOSFET. Low capacitance resistance (CR) photorelays are designed to switch high-frequency signals across output terminals. These Toshiba photorelays are available in through-hole or SMT/SMD mounting styles. In addition, they're offered in several package types, including S-VSON-4, VSON-4, USOP-4, SON-4, and SMD-4. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +110°C.

TLP3406S Photorelays

Toshiba TLP3406S Photorelays consist of a photo MOSFET optically coupled to an infrared light-emitting diode. These devices feature a small ON-resistance and is offered in compact S-VSON4 and VSON4T packages. Compared to previous products in a VSON4 package, these photorelays have an approximately 22% smaller mounting area. Since it can drive current up to 1.5A, the Toshiba TLP3406S Photorelay is ideal for switching applications in high-speed testers.

TLP34xxSRx Photorelays

Toshiba TLP34xxSRx Photorelays consist of a photo MOSFET optically coupled to an infrared Light Emitting Diode (LED). Toshiba TLP34xxSRx Photorelays feature a very small ON-resistance, low OFF-state current, and low output pin capacitance. These surface mount devices are housed in a compact S-VSON4T package and are suitable for high-frequency signal applications, measuring instruments, high-speed logic IC testers, high-speed memory testers, and automatic test equipment. The TLP3475SRx Photorelay includes a built-in input resistor, eliminating the need for an external input resistor and saving additional PCB space.
