MP2187 Synchronous Step-Down Switchers

MPS MP2187 Synchronous Step-Down Switchers are 1.2MHz switch mode dual converters with internal power MOSFETs. These switchers provide up to 3A of output current from 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage. The MP2187 switchers come in a 2.2mm x 2.6mm QFN16 package and provide 1.1V and 1.8V fixed output voltages. The constant-on-time control provides fast transient response and easy loop stabilization. The fault condition protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, input voltage failure indicator, and thermal shutdown. Other features are 100% duty cycle in the dropout, auto discharge at power-off, and stability with low-ESR output ceramic capacitors. Applications include low voltage input/output system power, handheld/battery-powered systems, and wireless cards.
