The CoolSET package has two separate chips inside: one is a controller chip, and the other is a 700V/800V/950V CoolMOS™ chip. The cascode configuration helps achieve fast startup. The frequency reduction with soft gate driving and frequency jitter operation offers lower EMI and better efficiency.
