The embedded diode chips belong to the High-Performance Fast Recovery Diode (HiPerFRED) series, which features planar passivated chips, low leakage current, and short recovery time. These features make the IXYS DPF100C1200HB Fast Recovery Diodes ideal for high-frequency applications, such as battery chargers, power-factor correction (PFC), and high-frequency output rectifiers.
