TBU-RS Dual Channel High-Speed Protector

Bourns® TBU-RS Dual Channel High-Speed Protector is a Transient Blocking Unit (TBU) overcurrent and TVS overvoltage protector for the RS-485 communications interface. This high-speed protector offers 1μs fast protection response time and 850V maximum impulse voltage. The TBU-RS protector comes in 8mm x 5.5mm dimensions and is RoHS compliant. This overcurrent protector is ideal for RS-485 interface surge protection and Antenna Interface Standards Group (AISG) modem protection.

TBU-RS055-300-WH Dual-Channel High-Speed Protector

Bourns TBU-RS055-300-WH Dual-Channel Bidirectional Protectors are TBU-RS high-speed devices used in RS-485 communication interfaces. Bourns TBU-RS055-300-WH includes a 550V maximum impulse voltage and 250V maximum RMS voltage. This transient blocking unit overcurrent and TVS overvoltage protector is an integrated solution that aids compliance with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards. TBU-RS055-300-WH takes up less than half the board space of a discrete solution.
