P-NUCLEO-IHM03 STM32 Motor-Control Pack

STMicroelectronics P-NUCLEO-IHM03 STM32 Motor-Control Pack is a kit composed of the XNUCLEO-IHM16M1 board, the NUCLEO-G431RB board, a brushless gimbal motor (GBM2804H-100T), and a DC power supply. This platform provides a motor-control solution for three-phase, low-voltage and low-current DC brushless or PMSM motors. The P-NUCLEO-IHM03 is based on the STSPIN830 driver and on the STM32G431RB MCU.

STM32 Nucleo Expansion Boards

STMicroelectronics STM32 X-Nucleo Expansion Boards carry all the required components to evaluate ST devices to be used together with an STM32 MCU and to build STM32-based applications. The Expansion Boards are equipped with standardized interconnections, like an Arduino Uno R3 connector, or a Morpho connector for a higher level of connectivity. Each Expansion Board is supported by STM32-based software modules. The combination of STM32 Nucleo Boards and Expansion Boards is a unified scalable approach with unlimited possibilities for application development, prototyping, or product evaluation.

Motor Control Solutions

STMicroelectronics Motor Control Solutions are a portfolio of products for low-voltage motor control applications. These products include monolithic driver ICs, power MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, power modules, and dedicated microcontrollers to address a broad range of applications. STMicroelectronics has boards and reference designs for Low Voltage Motors, which include < 100V all the way to High Voltage Motors 600V up to 1200V. Permanent Magnet synchronous motors and Brushless DC motors are replacing DC brush motors in more applications for advantages like higher efficiency, quieter operation, and better reliability. Despite the different structures, all three-phase permanent magnet motors (BLDC, PMSM) are driven by a pulse-width-modulated (PWM) three-phase bridge (three half-bridges) to supply the motor with variable frequency and amplitude of voltages and currents.
