Amphenol / SV Microwave Edge-Lock PCB Connectors are developed to form an interference fit between a conical alignment pin and a PCB thru-hole. This pulls the contact lane of the connector into the edge of the PCB. The result is a fixture-less connector primed for reflow without the use of custom fixtures to hold the connector in place. The secure fit between the connector and the PCB edge enables optimal RF performance throughout the connector’s full frequency range. Amphenol / SV Microwave Edge-Lock PCB Connectors offer high-frequency RF performance up to 40GHz (2.92mm version) or broadband performance from DC to 18GHz (SMA version). Ideal applications include high-speed / frequency component tests, product evaluation boards, mil-aero radar and communication systems, and satellite communication systems.
