IXYS MCMA140PD1800TB Thyristor-Diode Module features a planar passivated chip and offers long-term stability. This module is built with a Direct Copper Bonded (DCB) Al2O3 ceramic base plate that provides high thermal conductivity, high electrical insulation, and high mechanical strength. The MCMA140PD1800TB thyristor-diode module offers 1800V maximum repetitive reverse/forward blocking voltage, 140A average forward current, and 520W total power dissipation. This thyristor-diode module is used in line rectifying 50/60Hz, soft-start AC motor control, lighting and temperature control, DC motor control, power-converter, and AC power control applications.
