VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters

STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters combine 800V avalanche-rugged MOSFET with state-of-the-art PWM circuitry. The result is an innovative AC-DC conversion that is efficient, simpler, quicker, and with component count halved, less expensive. In addition to benefits such as optimized current-mode control and comprehensive built-in protection circuits, the STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus family represents the easiest solution to comply with ENERGY STAR and Blue Angel standards, with low total power consumption from the mains when the system is in standby mode.

STEVAL-ISA192V1 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA192V1 Evaluation Board is equipped with the STM32L0 microcontroller which detects tactile push buttons and a capacitive touch interface. The STM32L0 core manages VIPer0P to achieve minimum power consumption in Zero Power Mode (ZPM) while supplying the microcontroller and user interface (capacitive touch and push-button). The board does this while maintaining the overall efficiency quite high in standard operation mode.
