The connectors offer a DC to 40GHz frequency range with low VSWR. A push-on design allows the installer to mate connectors without needing any tooling. The compact size allows for high-density applications and when combined with the withdrawal features of the full detent design, the SMP components provide quick and effective interconnects using semi-rigid cables to printed circuit boards.
