Roving Hot Spot Solutions

Molex Roving Hot Spot Solutions are designed to handle the abuse of harsh environments while providing the performance required for today's smart cities, boasting some of the highest IP ratings on the market. As cities become smarter, the need for a network that is reliable and large enough to handle all of that data is critical. And while equipping fleets of busses and cabs, garbage trucks, and street cleaners with sensors and electronics has created a robust mesh network, it's also posed the need for electronics that can withstand the rugged environment of everyday urban use. These Molex solutions enable innovators to transform cities into Wi-Fi® mesh networks composed of mobile hotspots.

DuraClik Wire-to-Board Connectors

Molex DuraClik SMT Wire-to-Board Connectors with terminal retainer options provide superior electrical contact reliability, mating retention, and space savings compared to competitive versions for high-vibration and high-temperature applications. Molex DuraClik 2.00mm pitch connector series is available in single and dual row, 2 to 24 circuits with tin- and gold-plating options. The independent secondary lock (ISL) and terminal position assurance (TPA) variants feature operating temperatures up to +125°C, meeting high-level automotive passenger compartment requirements. The TPA version also offers Interia Lock, requiring a higher insertion force during the earlier part of mating in order to help confirm a secure connection.

Body Electronics Solutions

Molex Body Electronics Solutions create dynamic solutions for unique driving styles and enhance vehicle functionality. Molex Body Electronics products include control modules, cable assemblies, and interconnects that minimize weight and maximize space utilization. Molex Body Electronics are ideal for steering, power distribution, entry systems, and climate control applications.

DuraClik™ ISL Wire-to-Board Connectors

Molex DuraClik ISL Wire-to-Board Connectors and Retainers provides customers with the option of an independent secondary lock that provides up to 50N of retention force for superior terminal retention assurance.
