PI5USB216 USB 2.0 Signal Conditioners

Diodes Incorporated PI5USB216 USB 2.0 Signal Conditioners are designed to boost signals and apply pre-emphasis to compensate for intersymbol interference (ISI) signal loss before and after the conditioner. The Diodes Incorporated PI5USB216 conditioner's patent-pending design ensures a stable common mode with a symmetrical boost and pre-emphasis on D+/D- lines. This device is suitable for USB hosts or applications, whether placed far from the USB PHY or connector. Based on channel conditions, boost/pre-emphasis levels and receiver sensitivity can be configured via pin or I2C mode. It also detects and reports device attachment and high-speed handshake success. The PI5USB216 supports USB On-The-Go (OTG) and battery charging (BC 1.2) protocols. Its integrated BC 1.2 charging controller can be activated through a control pin.
