Featuring a PCIe 3.0 x1 FPC connection to the host board, the expansion card simplifies deployment by eliminating off-board power adapters and reducing cable clutter, ideal for compact or remote installations in industrial automation, edge computing, or smart surveillance.
The PoE expansion board includes a 12VDC output terminal block and a 4-pin power connector to directly power external devices from the same PoE supply. Users must power the LattePand IOTA through the expansion board’s Ethernet port (with IEEE 802.3bt-compatible switches or routers) to prevent power insufficiency, and should note that minor heating of the onboard inductor during normal operation is expected and harmless.
