These surface-mount varistors are specifically engineered for use in automotive circuits requiring surge protection, and the improved energy volume distribution and power dissipation deliver excellent transient energy absorption. These compact devices are AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant, lead free, and meet the IEC 61000-4-5 standard. Bourns BVRA1812 Automotive-Grade Low-Voltage Varistors operate in a -40°C to +125°C temperature range and provide a quick <1ns response time.
