AS6204 IC Digital Temperature Sensor

Infineon Technologies AS6204 IC Digital Temperature Sensor targets consumer applications such as laptops, cameras, and tablets. The board-mount sensor communicates via a 2-wire digital bus with other devices. The Infineon Technologies AS6204 IC Digital Temperature Sensor also consists of a Si-bandgap temperature sensor, an analog-to-digital converter, and a digital signal processor. The factory-calibrated sensor features ultra-low power consumption (low operation and quiescent current) and integrated linearization. The sensor's additional I²C addresses make it ideal for the prototyping phase of a product, where several heat-sensitive areas might need monitoring.

AS6204 sensor targets consumer applications such as laptops, cameras, and tablets. The board features a digital temperature sensor, a decoupling capacitor, and pull-up resistors. A jumper is included to set the Infineon Technologies AS6204-EK Adapter Board's four I²C addresses. A 5x1 pin header with a 2.54mm pitch enables the adapter board to connect to an application processor.
