THERM-A-GAP™ 579 3.0W/m-K Low Hardness Gap Pads
Parker Chomerics THERM-A-GAP™ 579 Gap Pads offer a low hardness of 30 Shore 00 and a thermal conductivity of 3.0W/m-K, making them a flexible solution for a range of applications. The 579 series includes an "A" version featuring gap pads on aluminum foil and a "G" version with gap pads on a clean-break glass-fiber carrier. The "A" version has a high-strength acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) for easy attachment to cold surfaces. Parker Chomerics THERM-A-GAP 579 Gap Pads come in a standard thickness of 0.010" to 0.200" (0.25mm to 5mm) and are suitable for an operating temperature range of -67°C to +392°C. Applications include automotive electronic control units (ECUs), telecommunications equipment, computers, handheld devices, lighting, and power conversion.
