This shell is designed to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions and combines durability with versatility, providing reliable performance in any environment and application. The unique retractable feature allows flexible, universal usage in numerous applications, removing the risk and frustration of lost shells. NEUTRIK etherCON TOP Series Retractable Connectors offer a 5.5mm to 8mm cable, ≤30N insertion force, and a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C.

etherCON® TOP Connectors

NEUTRIK etherCON® True Outdoor Protection (TOP) Connectors are heavy-duty sealed RJ45 connectors designed for harsh environments. These connectors include rugged cable connector carriers that accept most RJ45 plugs. The etherCON connectors also include the D-sized receptacles for PCB mount and Insulation-Displacement Contact (IDC) termination or to operate as feedback adapters. These connectors are made of high-impact UV-resistant materials as per UL certifications. NEUTRIK etherCON connectors also incorporate outdoor protection, according to IP65 and UL50E.
