Amphenol Industrial UPT Plastic Bayonet Connectors
Amphenol Industrial UPT Plastic Bayonet Connectors provide more options for industrial interconnect designs that do not require a metal shell or Mil-Spec equivalents. Based on the Amphenol 26482 Series I PT connector platform, UPT connectors feature a lightweight plastic shell with a metal bayonet coupling system, offering a smaller footprint, quick connect/disconnect functionality, and easy field installation. These connectors are intermateable with Souriau TrimTrio®, UTO™, and ITT Trident Ringlock® connectors and are available in wall-mount, jam-nut receptacle, and plug configurations.
UPT connectors support stamped-and-formed crimp contacts in multiple insert arrangements, provide IP67-rated ingress protection when mated, and operate across a -55°C to +125°C temperature range. Additional features include UL 94V-0 flammability ratings, 500 mating cycles, operating voltages up to 250VAC, insulation resistance of 5000MΩ minimum, and rated currents of 13A (size 16 contacts) or 23A (size 12 contacts). Multiple backshell sealing accessories and RoHS compliance make UPT connectors well-suited for industrial automation, robotics, heavy equipment, telecommunications, EV/HEV systems, and machinery applications.
