Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8772C Synchronous Step-Down Converters
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8772C Synchronous Step-Down Converters are fully integrated, high-frequency synchronous step-down converters with internal power MOSFETs. The MPS MP8772C supports a wide 3V to 17V input range and delivers up to 12A output current. Constant-on-time control provides fast transient response, tight output regulation, and simplified loop compensation.
The MPS MP8772C operates at a fixed 700kHz switching frequency and features high-efficiency synchronous rectification. An adjustable output voltage, power-good indicator, enable function, and configurable soft-start support flexible power management designs. Comprehensive protections include over-current, short-circuit, under-voltage, and thermal shutdown safeguards. These capabilities make these devices well-suited for portable devices, networking equipment, security cameras, digital set-top boxes, displays, and general-purpose power applications.
