Analog Devices Inc. LTM4719 µModule® (Micromodule) Regulators

Analog Devices LTM4719 µModule® (Micromodule) Regulators are 42V dual input, 150mA synchronous buck power µModule regulators with an integrated battery health monitor via I2C. The ultra-low quiescent current post-regulation linear regulator draws 560nA (typical) at no load and 42µA (typical) at full load, which is ideal for battery-operated portable equipment. The LTM4719 supports a seamless transition between two separate input power sources if one of the inputs is lost. The automatic switchover eliminates the requirement for holdup capacitors and minimizes disturbances on the output rail. The 18.5µA Burst Mode operation quiescent current makes the LTM4719 compatible with many applications.

The ADI LTM4719 Regulators have a built-in precision coulomb counter (Q) accessible via an I2C interface. A discharge alarm threshold can be programmed. An interrupt signal is generated at the IRQ pin when the threshold is reached. Battery voltage (V), battery impedance (Z),
and temperature (T) are accessible through I2C. Fault protection features include input undervoltage lockout (UVLO), power good (PG), current limit, and overtemperature (OV) protection.
