NKK Switches SmartDisplays
NKK Switches SmartDisplays are the industry's smallest off-the-shelf programmable OLED and LCD devices. SmartDisplays are offered as full-color or monochrome pushbuttons, rockers, and standalone displays. The switches can toggle among functions with a fully-programmable viewing area. By consolidating multiple operations into a single unit, SmartDisplays are more time, cost, and space-efficient than traditional switches.
OLED SmartDisplays are capable of 65,000+ colors in 16-bit mode and 256 colors in 8-bit mode, with a full viewing angle of 180º and 50 times greater contrast than LCD. All NKK Switches SmartDisplays produce sharp, clear images of even the smallest characters. The translucent black switches use a dust-tight construction to ensure smooth operation throughout a long lifespan. SmartDisplays are offered in development kits as well to assist with design needs. These development kits help in rapidly prototyping new design ideas via PC with a USB. The SmartDisplays are ideal for telecommunications, network engineering, military, automation, and other logic-level applications.
NKK Switches SmartDisplay Pushbuttons, Rockers, and Standalone Displays are available in a wide array of products from full-screen OLEDs to compact LCDs. These displays feature sharp contrast, high resolution, and programmable display graphics for alphanumeric characters and animated sequences.
NKK Switches Development Kits include the IS18WWC1W-K kit that features all items needed for quick evaluation and design. The IS-INT DEV KIT-6C features LEd brightness settings, optional audio feedback while switch is pressed, and are user programmable for images, attributes, and set-ups.
