Advanced Energy / Impac IPE 140 Pyrometers
Advanced Energy / Impac IPE 140 Pyrometers are fully digital infrared thermometers for non-contact temperature measurement on metals, ceramics, graphite, and similar industrial materials. The pyrometers combine high accuracy with focusable optics, enabling small spot sizes for precise measurement targets in process environments. The basic IPE 140 models support temperature measurement from +5°C to +1200°C, with specialized wavelength versions available for thin-foil, furnace, flame, and hot-gas measurements. IPE 140 pyrometers allow parameter setup through the integrated keypad or serial interface, while the built-in LC display shows settings or the current measured temperature.
The IPE 140 series supports switchable RS232/RS485 communication, 0/4mA to 20mA analog output, laser targeting or through-lens sighting, and galvanic isolation between the power supply, digital interface, analog output, and housing. Advanced Energy / Impac IPE 140 Pyrometers support industrial heating and material processing applications, including preheating, annealing, tempering, welding, forging, brazing, and normalizing.
