Advanced Energy / Impac ISR 6 Pyrometers offer precise non-contact temperature measurement using a two-color (ratio) method. By evaluating two adjacent wavelengths, the devices provide reliable temperature readings from +600°C to +3000°C, even in challenging environments. This approach reduces sensitivity to emissivity variations, improving measurement accuracy for metallic, ceramic, and graphite surfaces. ISR 6 pyrometers maintain performance in conditions where dust, smoke, or contaminants may interfere with traditional single-wavelength sensors. The ratio-based measurement principle ensures stable operation when the target surface characteristics or field conditions vary. ISR 6 Advanced models support connectivity to a PC via an RS485-to-USB interface, allowing engineers to configure settings and monitor performance in real time. Paired with InfraWin software, this Advanced Energy system enables temperature visualization, data logging, and full process analysis.
