Mikroe RTC 7 Click

Mikroe RTC 7 Click is a real-time clock module with extremely low power consumption. This allows it to be used with a single-button cell battery or a supercapacitor. The MAX31341B IC built on the Mikroe RTC 7 click can output the time in the binary-coded decimal (BCD) format. Integrated, factory-calibrated XTAL operating at 32.768kHz ensures a very low time deviation.

Features

  • RTC 7 click is based on the Maxim Integrated MAX31341B, a low-current Real-Time Clock with an I2C interface and power management on-board modules
  • Ability to be powered over the supercapacitor, external event capture pin, BCD time output format, low power consumption, and more
  • GPIO, I2C interface
  • M (42.9mm x 25.4mm) click board size
  • 3.3V input voltage

Applications

  • IoT
  • Wearable and portable devices
  • Logging devices
  • Industrial and health-related time metering applications
  • Applications that require an accurate time-base for various purposes
