Mitsumi MMS702 Infrared Temperature Sensors

Mitsumi MMS702 Infrared Temperature Sensors use MEMS thermopile technology to measure object-surface temperatures without physical contact. The multi-pixel design arranges eight sensing elements in a single row, allowing the sensor to capture temperature values from individual angular regions across a wide field of view. Digital I2C output delivers ambient-compensated object-temperature values and the sensor’s internal temperature.

The Mitsumi MMS702 Sensor merges low-noise performance with proprietary calibration technology to deliver accurate temperature measurements. Its connector-based design simplifies mounting and eliminates the necessity for a dedicated sensor board. The array supports home appliances, human and gesture detection, and other non-contact temperature-monitoring systems.
