NXP Semiconductors NHS3152 NTAG® Therapy Adherence Starter Kit
NXP Semiconductors NHS3152 NTAG® Therapy Adherence Starter Kit (NHS3152THADADK) provides a quick start for application development based on the NHS3152 NTAG® SmartSensor. The NHS3152 is optimized for realizing therapy adherence monitoring and logging. The NHS3152 includes an embedded NFC interface, a resistive network sensing interface, an internal temperature sensor, and an integrated Power Management Unit (PMU) for versatile control of power consumption.
The NHS3152 NTAG Starter Kit presents a specific use case, with the NHS3152 mounted on a PCB with switches to emulate pill intakes. The Starter Kit also includes an LPC-Link2 Board, which enables users to use a PC with the LPCXpresso IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to configure the target IC.
With the NXP Semiconductors NHS3152 NTAG SmartSensor, it is possible to create smart packaging that monitors pill intake. Through the NFC interface, the data is uploaded into a smartphone app. That data can be relayed into the cloud toward caregivers who can follow up and coach patients.
