Renesas Electronics ZSSC3224 Sensor Signal Conditioner IC
Renesas Electronics ZSSC3224 Sensor Signal Conditioner (SSC) IC is designed for high-accuracy amplification and analog-to-digital conversion of an input signal. The ZSSC3224 IC is also designed to correct resistive bridge or absolute voltage sensors for high-resolution sensor module applications. This IC also provides a corrected temperature O/P measured with an internal sensor. The measured and corrected sensor values are provided at the digital output pins, which can be configured as I2C (≤3.4MHz) or SPI (≤20MHz).The ZSSC3224 IC is programmed easily via the serial interface, which is used for PC-controlled programming of calibration coefficients in memory. The 24-bit SSC IC is a highly integrated CMOS design, excellent for low-voltage and low-power battery applications. Typical applications include fan control, barometric altitude measurement, weather forecast, and pressure measurements.
