Renesas Electronics PTX100R NFC Forum Reader

Renesas Electronics PTX100R NFC Forum Reader serves Point-of-Sale (PoS) applications and IoT, implementing the unique sine wave hardware transceiver architecture. This NFC reader offers a winning combination of superior transmit power and sensitivity, accurate wave shaping, and a reduced bill-of-materials compared. The PTX100R NFC forum reader also reduces the bill-of-materials compared to conventional square-wave NFC controllers. This fully compliant NFC reader marks a breakthrough in NFC power, system performance, and integration simplicity. The PTX100R NFC forum reader features an Xtal-less design using a reference clock and the removal of the second resonating structure introduced by EMI. This NFC reader operates at 13.56MHz frequency, -40°C to 70°C temperature range, and high output power up to 2W @5.5V. The PTX100R NFC forum reader is used in mobile Point of Sale (POS) terminals, wireless telematics units, and metered electric vehicle charging stations.
