Renesas Electronics RZ/G3SE Quad Core MPUs
Renesas Electronics RZ/G3SE Quad Core MPUs are mid-class IoT edge processors built for applications that need long battery life, high-speed connectivity, and scalable performance. The RZ/G3SE integrates dual-core or quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A55 processing with an Arm Cortex-M33 sub-CPU, supporting distributed application loads across Linux and RTOS environments.
The Renesas RZ/G3SE MPUs focus on power-conscious IoT systems with enhanced power management modes, including Idle mode, Sub-CPU mode, and deep standby with S2R support. The RZ/G3SE Quad Core MPUs also deliver PCIe Gen2, dual Gigabit Ethernet, TSN support, and an 8-channel 12-bit ADC, enabling smart gateways, equipment trackers, data concentrator units, and connected industrial platforms with flexible expansion and real-time communication.
The RZ/G3SE belongs to a pin-compatible and scalable portfolio with RZ/G3L devices, allowing platform reuse across headless IoT edge systems and display-equipped HMI products. ECC support, Renesas Secure IP, secure boot, Arm TrustZone®, secure debug, tamper detection, and long-term CIP Linux support help reduce development risk for industrial and infrastructure applications with extended product lifecycles.
