STMicroelectronics LD56050 500mA Ultralow Dropout Linear Regulators
STMicroelectronics LD56050 500mA Ultralow Dropout Linear Regulators are high-accuracy voltage regulators that provide 0.5A of current. The LD56050 features an NMOS pass transistor, with a gate that's biased by a dedicated pin. This allows ultralow-drop performance, even at very low input voltages. The regulators are housed in a DFN4 1.2mm x 1.2mm package for space saving in designs. The LD56050 is suitable for low-power battery-operated applications with an ultralow-drop, low-quiescent current, and short-circuit current foldback. An enable logic control function puts the STMicroelectronics LD56050 500mA Ultralow Dropout Linear Regulators in shutdown mode, allowing a total current consumption lower than 0.1µA. Thermal protection is also included.Features
