STMicroelectronics ECMF Common-Mode Filter ICs

STMicroelectronics ECMF Common-Mode Filter ICs offer the industry's first silicon common-mode filters combined with high-efficiency ESD protection needed by high-speed data lines. This enables manufacturers to reduce part counts and simplify the design of reliable, high-speed data circuits commonly used in smartphones, tablets, and mobile computers as well as wired connections such as USB2.0 and HDMI. This series offers ultra-compact form factors and covers high-speed serial interface standards including USB, MIPI, MDDI, or HDMI. The ECMF devices are designed to improve the noise immunity of applications such as mobile phones, notebooks or tablets, and to protect them against destructive ESD air and contact discharges.

ECMF Common-Mode Filter ICs are designed to filter and protect high-speed links such as USB 3.1 Gen 1 and HDMI 2.0. These filters improve the overall performance and robustness of consumer devices. The ECMF common-mode filters offer a µQFN package with less than 3mm thickness. These filters suppress the common-mode noise generated from the high-speed lines which create LTE, GPS, and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz to 5GHz bands.
