Texas Instruments ADS8528 / ADS8548 / ADS8568 Bipolar Input ADCs

Texas Instruments ADS8528 / ADS8548 / ADS8568 8-channel bipolar input ADCs contain eight low-power, 12- (ADS8528), 14- (ADS8548), or 16-bit (ADS8568) SAR-based analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with true bipolar inputs. The channels of these devices are grouped in four pairs, allowing simultaneous high-speed signal acquisition of up to 650kSPS. These Texas Instruments ADCs support selectable parallel or serial interfaces with daisy-chain capability. The programmable reference allows the handling of analog input signals with amplitudes up to ±12V. The ADS8528 / ADS8548 / ADS8568 family supports an auto-sleep mode for minimum power dissipation. The entire family is specified over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. These devices are ideal for use in protection relays, power quality measurement, and multi-axis motor control applications.
