Texas Instruments bq76922EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments bq76922EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is a complete evaluation system for the bq76922, a three-cell to five-cell lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery monitor integrated circuit. The evaluation module consists of a bq76922 circuit module, which evaluates the bq76922 monitor functions. The circuit module includes one Texas Instruments bq76922 integrated circuit, sense resistor, power FETs, and all of the other onboard components necessary to protect the cells from overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, and overcurrent discharge in a five-series cell Li-ion or lithium-polymer battery pack. The circuit module can be connected with a power supply or directly across the cells in a battery and the included cell simulator resistors. With the onboard interface or compatible external interface board and Microsoft® Windows® PC graphical user interface (GUI) software, the user can view the device registers, adjust protection limits, and enable FET control outputs.
