Texas Instruments bq79600EVM-030 Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments bq79600EVM-030 Evaluation Module (EVM) is for the bq79600-Q1 used as bridge IC to interface between a microcontroller (MCU) and TI battery monitoring ICs (for example, bq7961X-Q1 and bq79606A-Q1). The information from the MCU is translated by the device into pulses recognized by TI's battery management daisy chain protocol and transmitted out. The device has an Auto-Host Wake-up function that can be utilized with the bq7961X-Q1 family to automatically wake the host through the INH pin when an unmasked fault is detected in the battery monitoring ICs. The Texas Instruments bq79600EVM-030 can be powered through a 5V source, such as a PMIC device, or directly through a 12V battery.
