Vishay Semiconductors VCNL3020 Fully Integrated Proximity Sensor with Infrared Emitter includes a built-in infrared LED and photo-pin-diode for proximity function. The 16-bit effective resolution for proximity detection range ensures excellent crosstalk immunity. The Vishay Semiconductors VCNL3020 Proximity Sensor with Infrared Emitter also features excellent ambient light suppression by signal modulation, an I2C bus interface, and digital output. The standard serial digital interface easily accesses the proximity signal without complex calculation and programming by an external controller. A flexible programmable interrupt pin is also available.Features
