Vishay Semiconductors VCNL36829UM Proximity Sensor
Vishay Semiconductor VCNL36829UM Proximity Sensor combines a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL), photodiode, and application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) within a small, ultra-thin package. The VCNL36829UM has been developed for proximity detection applications, offering several advanced features, including dual slave addresses, low power consumption, and a compact package design with an isolation wall for optimal signal-to-noise ratio performance, along with the flexibility of mechanical design. Additionally, given the typical rated supply voltage of 1.8V to minimize power consumption, the Vishay Semiconductor VCNL36829UM is designed for battery-powered applications.
