Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Racing Team Readies for First-Ever Formula E Race in Tokyo

March 27, 2024Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is excited to support the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team as they head to Tokyo, Japan for round 5 of Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The race, which will be on March 30, will mark the first time the all-electric series makes a stop in Japan.

A 2.582 km long circuit boasting 18 turns awaits the drivers at this challenging yet exciting street course. The track will feature three notable straights and high-speed combinations set against the stunning Tokyo metropolis backdrop. The track surrounds the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre, the largest venue in Japan, which is also known as Tokyo Big Sight. The inaugural Formula E race in Japan will be the first time that public roads in Tokyo will be closed for a public road race and world championship event. Team drivers for this season are Season 8 Champion Stoffel Vandoorne and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne. The team currently sits in third place for the season with 57 points.
