September 23, 2021 – Straight off a thrilling top-10 finish at the Grand Prix of Monterey, IndyCar driver Ed Jones will pilot the Mouser Electronics-sponsored No. 18 car at the Grand Prix of Long Beach on September 26 — the final race of the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series. The 11-turn street circuit in the California city runs along Shoreline Drive and around the Long Beach Convention Center. Mouser and valued manufacturer Molex sponsored the Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser Sullivan race team throughout the 2021 season.

“Mouser is proud to team up with Molex to support such a dedicated team in an exciting, fast-paced sport,” said Todd McAtee, Mouser Electronics’ Vice President, Americas Business Development. “The collaboration between Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser Sullivan, Mouser and Molex is a testament to our collective commitment to best-in-class teamwork and performance-driven excellence.”

Jones, who was named the 2017 IndyCar Rookie of the Year and earned a podium finish at that year’s Indianapolis 500, began his IndyCar career with Dale Coyne Racing after winning the 2016 Indy Lights Drivers’ Championship.

Mouser first sponsored IndyCar racing in 2011 as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies. The Mouser- and Molex co-sponsored car won the Indianapolis 500 in 2013, as well as the 2017 and 2018 series-opening races at St. Petersburg, Florida.
