October 13, 2014 - Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking Oval Contact System (OCS) Connectors from Amphenol Aerospace. Designed for high-speed data transmission, these rugged, high density connectors deliver data rates of up to 10 Gbps per pair while withstanding a minimum of 500 mating cycles. Part of Amphenol's newest offering of its environmentally-compliant MIL-DTL-38999 interconnect products, these OCS connectors provide improved signal integrity via reduced cross talk, as well as enhanced attenuation performance as compared to the industry standard quadrax.

The Amphenol Aerospace Oval Contact System (OCS) Connectors, available from Mouser Electronics, are offered in an insert arrangement of 13-53, with a MIL-DTL-38999 series III shell size of 13. The connectors feature a reduced size and weight with a front release, and provide a rear removable contact system for easy repair. All of Amphenol's OCS connectors meet the environmental requirements of MIL-DTL-38999, and use off-the-shelf Mil Spec backshells. Solder or PCB tail contacts are available, and contact and plating materials are consistent with SAE-AS39029.

Engineered for high-speed communication applications, the Amphenol Aerospace Oval Contact System (OCS) Connectors are ideal for use in military defense, commercial and industrial markets.
