Microchip Technology RN-42 Class 2 BLUETOOTH® Module

Microchip RN-42 Class 2 BLUETOOTH® Module is a small form factor, low power, class 2 BLUETOOTH radio for designers who want to add wireless capability to their products without spending significant time and money developing Bluetooth-specific hardware and software.

The RN-42 support multiple interface protocols, are simple to design in and are fully certified, making them each a complete embedded Bluetooth solution. The RN-42 is functionally compatible with the RN-41. With the high-performance, on-chip antenna and support for Bluetooth EDR, the module deliver up to a 3Mbps data rate for distances up to 20 meters (RN-42).
