SparkFun WRL-11395 Electric Imp
Sparkfun WRL-11395 Electric Imp provides an easy, integrated way to connect almost any hardware device or other devices to internet services. The Electric Imp is a WiFi-enabled development platform powered by a Cortex-M3 processor core. This Electric Imp is an integrated platform that deals with the drudgery of connectivity, which allows concentrating on the application instead of the mechanics. The WRL-11395 Electric Imp is developed in a language called “Squirrel" with extensions to communicate with the hardware interfaces and the service.

- No SDK to install, no JTAG pods, and no long download times to develop code in a browser-based IDE
- Software that runs on the Imp is written in Squirrel
- Data passes to and from the service over a Transport Layer Security (TLS) encrypted interface
- 32mm x 24mm x 2.1mm in dimension
